With unparalleled expertise in this area we are a driving force within this group, which is seeking regulation and clarification for Access Panels.
There has been a rapid growth in an Access Panel approach, but at present as the market is largely unregulated. It is often difficult to find out exactly what quality standards are being applied in recruiting panel members and how they are maintained.
You need to have no such concerns over our Panels. Our quality guarantee to you comes through our recruitment policy (no self-selection) and our active management of the Panel.
- Study participation is controlled via survey PIN number and accessed via unique panel number and PIN number, with strict rules on panellist usage to ensure respondents do not become overloaded or perceived as "professional".
- Frequency and quality of response is monitored, and panellists removed if this is not up to required standards.
- Regular updates are undertaken of the demographic and lifestyle information held on panellists.
- An incentivisation programme maximises response rates.
- There is regular communication through newsletters and free phone to endorse a "community" spirit. It is because they have already provided details about the demographics of all individuals in the household as well as a range of other ownership and usage information, that it is possible to select very precisely defined sub-groups such as high income earners or teens – groups traditionally regarded as too difficult or too costly to interview.
